Group Off Road Driving Events
For our all action Off Road Driving Events with groups and larger numbers of people we generally allocate three guests to each Land Rover with an instructor. The instructor will give a short demo drive at the start of the driving period after which the guests take over the driving.We will gradually build up the tempo in the vehicle as each guest has their first drive and after some confidence building obstacles guests will progress to our really "Mad and Manic" areas. It is great fun and a really extreme high adrenalin adventure!
Guests will swap over the driving roughly every 20 minutes giving each person in the vehicle at least three sessions behind the wheel. It's a lot of fun seeing your associates struggle to cope with the driving terrain and there is always a good bet on who will get stuck!
We can take up to 21 guests in a group, all in vehicles at the same time. At the end of the day a certificate is presented to each driver to commemorate the experience and also a car sticker to say they have been "Mad and Manic"!
We can also arrange other group activities on site during the day.
The Half Day:
A three hour Xtreme Muddy Experience, the drive lasts for three hours with a short ten minute refreshment break in the middle. During the drive guests will attempt steep hills, ditches and ridges, water hazards, log bridges, simulated river beds and our swamp area with it's bottomless mud. The drive time is full of action and will challenge the very best of drivers.
The half day is really good for team events and team bonding, everyone gets involved and is challenged by the skills required while the chat in the vehicle can greatly help build relationships.
The cost is based on the hire of the vehicle which is charged at £200 + VAT for the three hour experience. Allowing three people per vehicle it is easy to cost out your event depending on your numbers.For example - Eight people need two vehicles giving a total bill of £400 + VAT ( £50 + VAT per head).
The Full Day:
A five hour Xtreme Muddy and Manic Driving Experience, the drive time lasts for five hours. Guests do three hours in the morning on the purpose built site, similar to the half day. We adjourn for a soup and sandwich lunch in the clubhouse at the end of the morning session.
After lunch guests will actively take part in and learn how to do some vehicle recovery using our vehicle winches and high lift jacks. It is a very active and challenging afternoon, great for team bonding as it requires hands on recovery planning and active participation from all the team members together with a good level of driving skill involved.
We recommend three guest per vehicle for the full day
The cost is based on a charge of £300 + VAT per vehicle for the full day experience.
For example - Six guests need two Land Rovers giving a total of £600 +VAT (£100 + VAT per head).
Other Activites:
We often arrange extra activities for visiting groups on demand and we have managed lots of large mixed activity events since we started sixteen years ago. We have two separate grassland areas to run the activities on and our mixed activity days have always proved to be very exhilarating and a huge amount of fun.
The largest number we have catered for is 93 guests and the smallest group size we will cater for is 12 guests for a mixed activity event.
We have lots of space on the site for large marquees and catering to be located to host our guests within and we have masses of parking for coaches or corporate displays. Our most recent large event was for Nissan as pictured below.
Suggested extra activities could include for example Clay Pigeon Shooting, Falconry, Quad biking, Highland Games, Archery etc. If you have a particular event in mind please just give us a call and we provide with some costs and suggestions.
