The Scottish Off Road Driving Centre is the biggest, best and most challenging 4x4 offroad driving course in Scotland. We provide all action off road "recreational" training in our specially adapted Land Rovers, either through Gift Vouchers or you can just phone up and book a time. We also run professional 4x4 training courses.

Extreme 4x4 Starter £99...fantastic fun and lots of thrills!
A 1.5 hour extreme off road starter session. Lots of mud and water with unbelievable descents and lots of sliding around. Our starter is great for the first time off road driver, you will not believe you have really done it!
What's included: certificate, car sticker + 3 guests allowed.Extreme Muddy Experience £190...ideal if you are sharing the driving.
Our 3 hour "Extreme Muddy" 4x4 session includes very deep water, glutinous mud, mad hill climbs and heart stopping descents. This session gives you a brilliant and thoroughly comprehensive extreme offroad experience, it's great fun and as the tempo builds we will keep asking for more of your driving skills. We stop for five minutes halfway through the session for a free refreshments break and admire the outstanding views. This voucher is great for sharing the driving but excellent value to do all the "mud plugging" yourself.
What's included: certificate, car sticker + 3 guests allowed.Extreme Full Day Adventure Safari £300...for the serious off road enthusiast.
An "Extreme" 5 hours of driving. You start the day on the 150 acre 4x4 training area, a mixture of man made and natural obstacles, to develop your driving skills and help you gain confidence. By the end of the 3 hour morning session you will be ready and able for the "4x4" adventure safari.
After lunch, the two hour safari over Glentarkie Estate includes woodland drives, self recovery with the winch when you get stuck, and some seriously muddy treacherous ground. We will take time to look at the abundant wildlife and give you an insight into the environmental projects being undertaken on the estate.What's included: certificate, car sticker + 3 guests allowed.
Owners 4x4 BYO School £100...get to know your own vehicle's limits.
This school is aimed at the 4x4 owner who wants to learn or improve the driving of your own 4x4. We start with a guide to the vehicle and its controls followed by a thorough explanation of how the four wheel drive system works, which lasts for around 20 minutes. Then it's off for 2+ hours of practical off road driving on our novice areas followed by some exciting and safe fun on the purpose built obstacles.
Owners can bring 3 guests in the vehicle (we have to squeeze the instructor in!) + certificate and car sticker are presented.Mad on Mud Club £150...fun, adventure and thrills EVERY weekend!
